This post by Kurzgesagt is so disturbing. They make videos without AI, yet an AI moderator marked their video as slop, and has stopped showing the video to subscribers.

This is so worrying. Every time I look at the sidebar of YouTube videos, I see videos with thousands of views from vague channels that look very slop-y and those videos get recommended while those by real creators seem to get shadowbanned.

My doom-thinking mind can't help but think that it won't be long before AI creates videos that AI clients view and then Google gets all the ad money (from ads created by AI because why would you use human creativity when you just can steal it).

No humans needed! Wheeeeee.
