@Sablebadger my son has changed a lot.

He's not the same kid he was two years ago, when anxiety and self harm were constant companions.

He's not the same kid he was two years before that, when he was reeling from lockdowns and didn't know who he was.

He's not the same kid he was two years before that, when he was a gregarious, glittery tomboy.

And yet, through all of it, he's always been my bright, artsy, nerdy, intense, amazing kid. So I figure if and when he gets the T he needs, he may change again, but he'll still be him.
