Two weeks ago, there was a bad smell in and outside my dishwasher. I cleaned the inside, did empty cycles of washing with machine cleaner, but smell remained.

I was convinced that it had to be a dead mouse, but where the hell would it be? It took some searching, but…the repair man just found it.

Inside the door! Electrocuted. 🥺

There was no contact with the water or dishes (happy!) but still…grossssssss!

Doing an empty cycle again…or two…, before using it…
