#Mexico calls on the UN for help after numerous #ICE deaths
So far, 17 Mexicans have died during operations by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement or in their detention centers. Foreign Minister Roberto Velasco wrote to UN High Commissioner Volker Türk asking for the deaths to be investigated.
President Claudia Sheinbaum had announced that following these deaths related to ICE, she would take action against the US not just diplomatically, but also legally.
