Wow. Netflix can't figure out while so many people drop out of their shows after the first season?!
Its usually like this: Season 1 is pretty good (might get cancelled anyway). Season 2 is coming after 5 years. At this point everyone forgot all about it. Season 2 ends with a cliffhanger and gets cancelled. Repeat

@obrhoff Reminds me of data-driven decision making at certain tech companies. Launch an MVP → move onto something else instead of following with updates → “why is no one using our half-baked new feature?”
@jeremykanter Yeah it seems everything is dictated by data and stuff. The art that is produced is just a vessel for profits.
For sure it kinda was all the time like this but we are reaching new levels of it.
