The entire zombie Chat Control surveillance attempts are complete bad faith from tech companies and aspiring authoritarians.

They don't care about safety, and they (like many people) use the language of "safety" as a fig leaf to allow them to engage in constant, pervasive data collection and surveillance.

They choose not to.
