Some pictures of the "build".

The main reasoning behind this setup: I didn't want to poke holes in windows, doors or walls.

I've tried to add an understandable description in the ALT tags.

Because I have multiple windows side by side, not all of which can open, I made it so two straps keep it in place, and the slats and screens also cover a window directly next to the one with the straps.

Basically a horizontal slat, with a reed screen sticking out to one side.
