Bred to fight lions, this fellow was nothing less than a sweetie pie, who would patiently walk with me as I walked a large property in California. After my first experience in the area in which a cougar encounter was a feature, I took him and his pal out with me. They loved the walks, they didn't mind my dawdling to take photos, made me feel safer and dogs are always great company, so any excuse to be in their company... :)
