I actually had a dream on Friday morning/afternoon about the end of CBS News Radio. I managed to tune into some kind of final broadcast, but it was live, and they were letting people call in. I think I actually managed to call in, and the question I asked was, "Where did that bong at the start of every newscast come from, how was it generated?" The question I really want answered is, what's going to happen to the decades of archival material from this network? I certainly hope they don't just rm -rf /* the lot of it or equivalent.
