Trying to decide what, if anything, I should say to my #Engineering students today about the proposed dismantling of the US Dept of #Education. Around a third of them get Pell grants. Even more get federal loans, and others earn money from federal work-study jobs. All that could go away, and if that happens, many of our #students will go away, too. If you wanted to harm the #future of the United States, this would be a very effective method.
