Just noticed that #Perl got a new cool (somewhat official) logo https://perladvent.org/2024/2024-12-23.html
I haven't used it in ages and I'm guessing it's mostly dead these days, but it was one of the first languages that got me really passionate about programming and it will always have a special place in my heart.

@ology I guess so, but I think they handled the transition from Perl 5 to Perl 6 (Raku) even worse than Python 2->3 and a lot of opportunities were wasted there. I still recall the time when Perl was very widely used for web development.

It's a different language, there's no "transition"
Like they started a rewrite and then didn't produce the same language.
