friendly tip for my #selfhosted peeps

if you have a spare domain lying around, add subdomains for your servers, vms, and containers
then, setup a search domain on each of your machines to point to said domain

no matter what machine i'm on, when i run `ssh root@seedbox.intra` it just works. no fucking around with /etc/hosts, no bullshit.
