Just (over the last couple of weeks) moved my email provider from Google to ProtonMail, after being on Gmail for 15+ years. This is partly because Google have recently proved themselves to be the reprehensible corporate asshats that I always suspected they might be, but also because I discovered that they had set up forwarding in my settings to forward all my emails to one of their advertising aggregation sites. 1/
