Ostin heräteostoksena Suomalaisesta kirjakaupasta uudet lukulasit. Paljon tyylikkäämmät kuin edelliset kympillä (tjsp) Edinburghista ostetut (kun sitä edelliset Italiasta ostetut kympin lasit hajosivat). Näissä on jopa kahden vuoden takuu, täytyy pitää kuitti tallessa sen varalle että hajoavat. Mutta nämä kyllä vaikuttavat suht kestäviltä rakenteellisesti.

Am I weird when I find the #Foundation series (on Apple TV) boring? I honestly tried to love it. But now I just now and then quickly scan a few episodes, mostly fast-forwarding, just watching short fairly randomly chosen snippets here and there. (In S2E9 or so now.)

Sam people just love standing in a queue. It is half an hour until we arrive and passengers can start disembarking. Still there is already a queue at the exit. And there really is no rush to get off this ship, as it leaves only after six hours.

Even the one between Oslo and Göteborg (and further to Malmö and København). In a sane world, there could be a high-speed line here with a travel time of 1.5 h or so. #CrossBorderRail

One is so used to 64-bit architectures being the normal nowadays, that 32- and 16-bit seem like more or less equally old and irrelevant. Especially 32- and 16-bit Intel architecture. 32-bit ARM is a bit more fresh in memory.

Are there other countries than Sweden and Norway where all main roads seem to be E-roads https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_E-road_network ? And if some road is an E-road, that is how everyone refers to it, even if it might have some completely different domestic road number.

At least in Finland, even though we do have a fair number of E-roads, too, and a majority of the important roads are E-roads, they aren't referred to using those numbers in everyday talk.

It must be confusing for a driver from Sweden, for instance, to ask for advice in Finland, "should I take the E12 or E75" and get a blank stare in reply from the common man. As I assume would happen?
