I have a friend who cannot accept most things I say without opposition.
So I am wondering how controversial are these statements:
It is easier to clean if you have less stuff.
The less stuff we have the easier it will be to keep some order in our stuff .
Is it just the communication, the style of a statement?

One of my sisters apologized to me just now, saying that the correct pronouns still don’t always "roll off her tongue so naturally", the one who didn’t once misgendered me yesterday (at least, I never noticed it). Yes, there were a couple of times when she had to correct herself halfway through the first syllable (but she did it really well) and occasionally used the wrong case for the neo-pronouns I use in German, but her intention was soooooooo clear :blobcathearts:
And my other sister tried to color one of the cakes internally in nonbinary colors :nb_heart:

Really one of the things that gives me hope for the future is that just disliking AI is so popular even among people who don't know about some of the deeper reasons. I think there is another group of people who are more quiet about not liking it but they have a big fear of not being seen as up to date or able to adapt and use new technology.
The money to promote this stuff is all over the place. Nearly everyone I know has had an education session at work about it.
That is WILD.

wenn dein arzt sagt, du sollst dich schonen.

immerhin komme ich mal wieder ein bisschen voran und das entspannt dann irgendwie auch.

I finished reading @dilmandila book The Blossoming of The Big Tree yesterday. It's a good book. The most powerful thing with it is that it gives you a picture of a working alternative to todays centralised governing system. It gives you the tools to imagine something other, something better.
It's also a bit scary in painting a future for the "global north" that I fear unless our clown show of governments get their shit together.
But regardless that, it's a book I recommend. You should read it.
As I cut my carrots into extra thin little slices (because it makes the crunch just perfect) I started thinking about how strange cooking, as an adaptation is.
Many animals go to great lengths to secure, prepare and cultivate food sources but cooking goes far beyond maximizing nutrition. It's a cultural practice, communication, self expression.
Ant's do make "ant bread" but this is more like that fad diet powder called "soylent" than cooking just to enhance the joy of eating.
I have a lot of frustrations for how people talk about tech and various forms of literacy, especially when it seems to neglect a lot of factors.
Like, obviously being negligent towards tech responsibilities isn't helpful and creates a hostile environment to all forms of learning (including various forms of literacy), but I feel like we're not willing to point to the specific problems and instead point to the "all tech" aspect.
A weird thing about living in #Massachusetts is constantly having other Americans tell you the life you live every day is impossible.

gerade versucht etwas auf wikipedia zu lernen. wow sind manche artikel langatmig. und dann ist da sowas drin wie "typ soll in seinen vorlesungen gesagt haben" als quelle. ich hatte schon Bücher von Frauen als Quelle und das hat dann nicht gezählt.
argh, gibt es sowas wie einen Bechdel-Test auch für Wikipedia Artikel? Also es müssen mindestens zwei Frauen drin vorkommen und sie müssen fachlich zitiert werden?
@wikipedia wäre da nicht was möglich?
