Sitting in traffic. So, yes, we've made it to LA.

Ready to go... anywhere that doesn't require a shirt! 😁

Perfect.

Today was, well...

I know that Nikon has different target audiences for different products, but for fuck's sake I will never understand why they just don't have ONE universal standard (Bluetooth, at this point) for wireless remotes across their entire Z line. The Z8/Z9 will not work with Bluetooth remotes, only with the shittiest app ever written (tied with Sony, really, for their headphones app), Snapbridge, as a remote. I knew this before buying, but it still annoys the fuck out of me...

New camera who dis?

Well @easer79 didn't want to do a video but asked me to fill in for him...

I know it's #biceptember, but can we spare some love for the triceps, too? 😏

Thanks @yesjohn for making me Google "lesbian bar clown school" because that was still less ridiculous than my day at work today.

It is gonna take me a bit to get my workouts adapted to the new Monster. The consistent weight resistance this thing has is great, to the point of having to adjust most of my lifts down a bit in weight. At some point I'll play around with the modes that allow auto-adjusting resistance on concentric/eccentric phases. Working out with AC is nice tho as neither of my stupid gyms have it (one doesn't have it, one won't turn it on). Working out without pants is always a bonerus, too 😁

Where I am torn is that I am already in a $70/month promo that expires in February. So do I switch to the new Spectrum plan now for the same price and extend my promo price for 6 months, or wait until Feb and hope they are still offering $70 for 12 months then.

Seems the new Spectrum internet plans are live for Cox customers and they have removed the data caps Cox had. So previously with Cox the base price for 1gb down / 100 mbps up in San Diego was $120 + $50 for unlimited data and now it's $105. They are still offering a promo for $70 for 12 months right now.

Our building's chiller quit working last Friday, so at home we've been managing with our two portable AC units that we always have to use anyway during the summer, but our condo isn't really getting below 80°F right now. And the AC at work, where I am today, is also struggling and it's 80°F here.

Rewatching Shameless and anyway, what's something unusual you notice about this scene?

"Cox is now Spectrum."

Well, whoopty-shit.

Today is our nine-year anniversary together, so we decided we'd celebrate by doing a thing. @easer79

One of the reasons I didn't upgrade from the Watch 3 to 4 is the change in the charging pins location. I've had my 3 inside a fully metal case with attached metal band that makes it look like a completely different watch. No one ever even knows it's a Pixel watch. But this style case doesn't work with the new pins. So with the 5, I think I'm just giving up on trying to make the thing look more interesting and throwing a stupid clear plastic with glass protector over the top. I'm tired.
