@dansup hi! Have you read this report?
Is there a future where NATO / EU works with you to upgrade the Fediverse capabilities to limit this impact?
I think it’s a potentially great source of funding and support.
What do you need most from WebKit (the rendering engine for Safari that runs your HTML, CSS, JS, and more)?
If you are making websites, what could we do in WebKit to make it easier for you to create fantastic experiences for your users?

The XY problem comes up all the time in #productdesign.
There is a widespread misconception that eagerly satisfying user requests is user-centered design.
Users are experts on the problems they face, but they are not product designers.
To best serve them, you need to dig deeper, figure out what their *actual* goals are, and design a good solution for *those*.
@stu Happy Birthday mate!
So updated to the new version which solved this issue, but after adding all the ingredients, method and two photos, it seemed to work, but then forgot everything!
I have 81 recipes in crouton, and love it, but this makes it unreliable.
@JustMeDevin bonjour!
I’m running into an issue where the app is holding me to a 5 recipe limit for new ones…even though I’ve purchased it & have many recipes in crouton already!

@scottjehl I did a little benchmark test once to check whether the website for "space jam" loaded faster now than it did in '96. Results were... disappointing 😅

The "State of CSS" survey is now open https://survey.devographics.com/en-US/survey/state-of-css/2024
This is literally the only community survey I've participated in every year for the past several years. If you can spare 15–20 minutes, please take it and help influence the future of #CSS.
Someone told me you can't apply different backgrounds to the content/padding/border/margin areas of a box, and I was like... I think you... can actually.
(e.g. multiple backgrounds with different background-clip values)
I ended up making this weird box model machine thingy. https://codepen.io/chriscoyier/pen/gONzpYb
Practical SVG is Now Free to Read Online
Back in 2016 I wrote a book called Practical SVG. Recently, the publisher, A Book Apart, closed shop. Now you can Read Practical SVG on the web, here on this site, for free. I always like how Mat's book was online so now mine can join that cool club. I'll echo what I say on the site: Thanks to Jeff Eaton for…

The AltText box in @IceCubesApp is glorious
It allows for full translation into any of the languages (apple?) translate provides, as well as copying the original and translated text.
Exceptionally good user experience.
Inspired by @pixelambacht 's talk at #cssday, here's my favorite typeface: "Noe Display" by independent type foundry Schick-Toikka:

CSS Grid is a near-perfect layout engine for making responsive music notation. This is a cool discovery! I write about it in this blog post, and present a custom element that aims to make it easy to author music directly in a web page:
