Uh OK, we complained to Australia Post about the Harry Potter / HBO collab, and they cancelled it!
The app logo is back to normal, and this promotional page has been taken down:

Alright, I've put all my music up on @subvertworld now.
Still love Bandcamp but it's nice to have somewhere else, and Subvert is a co-op!
Pricing a bit wonky as it's in USD for the moment.
Pleased to put my name to this important - and entirely un-radical - message in the SMH & Age today.
@timhollo and various other friends & relatives are there too. Notable that many many more Jewish people signed than could fit on this one page.
It's a small thing. It's 500 names + a whole lot more who couldn't fit. Some consider themselves anti-Zionist, some non-Zionist or post-Zionist. Some still consider themselves Zionist.
It doesn't use words like "genocide" or "colonialism" or even "occupation". But it's something.
I hope this visible gesture, including some prominent people (hey Ben Lee!), encourages more of our fellow Jews to allow themselves to think outside of the very small box that the mainstream Jewish community has constructed around itself - a box that's sliding ever-rightwards.
I'm mainly on Mastodon in order to see @bigben BONG on the hour TBH
Some users will never learn how to give sufficient information when reporting an issue.
Do not kill them.
I know. I know.
But don't. Shh, it's alright. Ask them again.
This incredibly important piece of journalism is hard reading.
I'd really like you to read it though, especially if you think what Israel is doing is justified or necessary.

I loved the debut single and EP from Jamaican-American musician June McDoom released last year on Temporary Residence.
Her new single is an incredibly gorgeous cover of Judee Sill. Drop everything and listen now.
I've always loved Judee Sill more in cover versions (see Daniel Rossen, Owen Pallett), and here again is someone getting right to the heart of her beautiful compostions.
It's a long scroll down the page, but our (FourPlay String Quartet) album Signs of Life with @neilhimself has been nominated for Best Classical Album in this year's ARIA Awards!

It's September 11. Today is the 50th anniversary of Pinochet's coup d'etat in Chile, usurping Salvador Allende's democratic socialist government with the CIA's support.
Today is also the anniversary of another horrific crime. But don't forget the other Sept 11, on this year or any other.
I am _never_ going to recommend a road, or Australia's sole postal service to my friends & family.
Not based on my last drive through a tunnel, or the... fashion in which my postie put my mail into my letterbox.
This is uncontroversial. What do these companies think they're getting out of this?
Just went to the bad old site to check out Albo's community-noted HAFF tweet.
The (badly-worded) community note's gone, but the replies are FULL of racist cunts shouting about immigration.
Yup, that's Elon's T̶w̶i̶t̶t̶e̶r̶X
Got a new Surface Laptop 5 from work. I have it sitting beside by old Surface Laptop 4, saving reg files, looking through installed apps, at the same time as configuring Ubuntu in WSL2.
It's feeling very "Finally got my Emacs setup just how I like it"
*sigh*
(Posted from my MacBook Pro)
What a lovely article about Peter Gabriel, fandom and youth from Keith Kahn-Harris in The Quietus.
FWIW, the new Peter Gabriel stuff really is the best stuff he's done in years. I've subscribed on Bandcamp and I'm hearing each song in multiple versions including subscriber-exclusive demos and stuff, and I'm enjoying being a PG fan again :)
So it looks like justice was served?
(Except for the victims of war crimes)
Pretty cool to see the
FourPlay String Quartet & @neilhimself album at #1 for a second week in the Billboard "Classical Crossover" Chart, BUT also now:
#21 in the overall Classical Chart
AND
#92 in the Current Album Sales Chart
Maybe you should buy it too? 🤔
(Available at gaiman-fourplay.com but also from bricks & mortar shops, which is also a nice thing for us!)
Once again, @bennjordan just casually dropping bombs on his YouTube channel.
This time it's not... just... about the crazy US laws around disclosure. Stay for the devious marketing creeps behind Instagram meme accounts and so much more.
You can pre-order the album on coloured vinyl, black vinyl, or CD, along with clothing & poster options, right here:

(Non-musical merch only available from our own store)
The Neil Gaiman & FourPlay String Quartet album Signs of Life is released this Friday!
In advance to that, we've released another track: this time the words are by William Shakespeare, read of course by @neilhimself
For the music, we started with a metronome ticking at 60bpm, and improvised a soaring postrock crescendo around it.
And our violinist Lara Goodridge created an incredible video.
Proud of this, please check it out!
