I don’t mind it now that I’m on-site support but I’ve had this one user lately who isn’t part of my site at all. Should be reaching out to techs for their site but I helped them once so now has imprinted on me. Again like a baby goose to its mother.
I have a term for a specific type of user that I encounter. A gosling is someone that comes directly to you for every trouble they encounter. Like a baby goose to its mother. Working in a service desk I’d often get users who tried to circumvent calling the number by reaching me directly.
