La presse est prête, plus qu'à attendre un peu que le papier s'humidifie.

Je préviens d'emblée que le tirage risque d'être plus "plat" que la plaque, car sa transparence fait des effets d'optique avec l'encre. C'est d'ailleurs hyper galère de voir vraiment ce qu'on fait, c'est pour ça que je préfère les monotypes sur cuivre, mais j'ai pas de plaque aussi grande sous la main.

Allez hop, un petit #enDirectDeLAtelier comme j'avais déjà fait !
Voilà un monotype à l'encre noire sur plaque en plastique, que j'ai peint pendant la dernière heure, prêt à imprimer.
Le temps de tremper une feuille et de préparer la presse et je vous montre le résultat dans 10 min :)

Recently I learned about TouchMapper: Create tactile maps easily for any address.

They use #OpenStreetMap to create printable 3D models of an area, for people with no/bad vision to literally get a feel for the place.

People have been making ASCII-like text art on letterpress for over 300 years, building pictures entirely out of metal type, ornaments, and rule. The practice has often been dismissed as "tasteless", "wasted effort" and "nothing to do with art", which is why I think it's gone largely undocumented. So, I've spent the last 8+ years collecting ~2500 of these works into an archive. Thanks to @adelfaure, who developed the site, it's now online for everyone to browse:
