honestly? call me crazy but I don't think it's coincidence that the private key was literally 4. I think that's the clearest hint we have that this was either testing infra or a backdoor. (but yes, it could still be coincidence, of course).

I didn't realize that Bluetooth is working so well again these days! at least, I just tested on KDE.

I recall having issues doing anything with bluetooth between phones and computers in 2019, but now I can just hook up my phone and use my pc as bluetooth speaker and mic, send files back and forth, share internet, control music on the phone, etc etc, without any messing around; it just works. Awesome work and thank you to the devs who made that possible.

If you look into a fiber and you see a faint red light, what's wrong?

I don't know who needs to hear this, but DO NOT LOOK INTO A FIBER OR OPTIC TO CHECK IF IT HAS LIGHT.

Fiber optics use infrared, you cannot see it properly, you are shining a super bright ass laser right into your eyes and you WILL cause damage.

yasss my 2013 nissan leaf AZE0 now has a 69kWh battery! the meter shows 450km+, but I just drove 70km on the highway and it only used 13% so that amounts to about 540km on the highway, absurd for a 13 year old electric car!

I also got a Chademo to CCS2 converter plug, so I'm now able to charge at absolutely any random fast charger, removed the TCU (Telematics), replaced steering joints, etc. This 13 year old car is ready to go for another decade!

accidental epiphany I had the other day

.. I mean that's an oversimplification of what I do, these custom machines can be very complex, but it very much feels like hunting down a 0.001% memory issue some days.

despite all efforts, computers are only as deterministic as the willingness of silicon to make sure all the 1s are actually 1s and 0s are 0s, and the fw does a good job at guiding the silicon at this job.

If sw works elsewhere, but not here, something on that server is fucky.
