Good thing I don't live in the UK, because then I'd have to sift through the >100 gigabytes of porn on my phone and SD card, as well as all my past backups, to see if there's any facesitting content in it, because the possession is apparently illegal (on the same level as literal CSAM, too, apparently!) even if it was downloaded before the law came into effect and you don't even remember having it saved anymore.

About the general strike in France: how do they expect those people to show up to the protest who don't have a car, if the trains and buses are striking?

I unironically think that generative AI could exist in an anarcho-communist society too.

But just like schools, workplaces, psychiatry and the justice system, it would probably look and work very different to how it does under the current status quo of neoliberal capitalism with authoritarian tendencies. It might not even be immediately recognizable as its capitalist equivalent.

AI under neoliberal capitalism is ethically completely fucked up, because it's funded by fascists and billionaires, driven by those people's incentives, based on the exploitation of small creators, small websites and underpaid third-world workers, takes from the commons and gates it behind a subscription, floods the web and social media with loads of fake bullshit and threatens to move the working class from wage slavery to poverty just to make the already rich even richer.

I don't know the details of how generative AI would be like in anarcho-communism, but it *might* actually be a technology developed and used in ethical ways then.

I don't go to protests because I am too scared of the police trapping, teargassing, arresting and/or stealing from me.

I am very averse to suffering and would rather die than deal with any of the above mentioned things.

I would be very much willing to do backline support of activism though, like writing software for activists, (legally) acquiring stuff or posting/sharing activist content online.

I wonder if Autism and/or ADHD are just an evolutionarily older neurotype, and allistic people are the newer development that took over because they successfully dominated non-allistic people

Techbro "transhumanists": want to replace humans with an AI "god" 👎

Furry/therian/transspecies transhumanists: want to replace humans with real life furries :neocat_aww:

Good meowning. I always desperately check the top of my head for any signs of newly growing cat ears. Nothing found so far, unfortunately.

My life before age 18 if society was fucking normal about AMAB kids crying: [utopia.jpg]

I have the perfect idea to curb alcohol and nicotine addiction!

Just do the same gatekeeping to them that's currently demanded for transgender HRT! Make people have to find a psychiatrist that certifies they really want to smoke and understand the consequences, then have them to go to another doctor who will tell them they're too fat to be allowed to smoke because of the blood clots

I'm currently again thinking about the #Kittyscript compiler, specifically about compile time side effects.

What should happen if a nested function contains a call to an identifier that is a macro in top level scope, but in a scope between that call and the top level, but *behind* the aforementioned nested function in the AST, the same identifier is defined differently to shadow the top-level macro.

Example in Lisp-style syntax:

(defmacro foo whatever)
(defn outer ()
(defn inner ()
(foo)
)
(defmacro foo something-else)
)

When should (foo) be expanded? On first pass? If on first pass, should it be recompiled once the shadowing foo is hit? Or should macro expansion be deferred until after we have gone through the code once and know which definition applies? What if foo expands to further definitions, possibly to macros or other compile-time side-effected code like eval-when? How to undo those?

"use AI or you'll be left behind" I didn't want to go where the AI bus wants to take us all. I'm waiting for the #Kittyscript tram that takes us all to systems that are programmable, scriptable and extensible by everyone with a little bit of learning.

Kittyscript is a programming language that I'm trying to develop, but my ADHD has been too hard to overcome in the past couple months. Check out the work-in-progress piece here: https://codeberg.org/LunaDragofelis/kittyscript-kotlin

My theory is that at least one member of the Splatoon team is a transspecies meltcat and has subtly influenced the game's characters and lore towards meltcat-like concepts. Evidence:

- Inklings and Octolings can turn between a semisolid ("kid form") and quasi-liquid ("squid/swim form" where they can melt into the ink they shoot) state. They appear to be made of (liquid) ink and have no bones (although the latter is justified by real life squids not having bones either). Meltcats can switch between liquid and semisolid state too.
- Octarians (the species that Octolings are a part of) can split off body parts into dedicated, specialized shapes like Octotroopers or Octocopters. Meltcats can do the same and likely have a eusocial society where they specialize their body to their job/task.
- Cats are the only mammals in the Splatoon world (outside of Splatoon 3 story spoilers). Splatoon is set in a hypothetical Earth 10,000 years after a third world war exterminating humanity and all other mammals. The only surviving mammal is a cat who (according to in-game lore) survived in some kind of cryo capsule. He's named Judd, and he's the referee for the multiplayer battles. Splatoon 2 introduced an additional smaller Judd called Lil' Judd and implies the cryo capsule creates new Judd clones on a regular basis.
- Splatoon 3's single player campaign introduces Fuzzy Ooze, which is basically ink with fur. There's also Fuzzy Octarians who are either made of fuzzy ooze or infected with it. Remember that Inkling/Octarian ink appears to be the substance their bodies are made of, similar to meltcat slime.

If I had an euro for every time someone said something along the lines of "plurality is too normalized on the Fediverse", or something less bad but phrased poorly enough to be easily confused with that, within the past week or so, it would be enough money for a meatball bread roll at the train station (€2.70).

I feel a little tense in the shoulders and weak and tired. I was also feeling rather cold. I told my boss and went home to lie down. I'm at home now and about to lie down in my bed. I wonder if my body is trying to fight off a flu right now.

With fur, you can be naked and clothed at the same time.
