RubyConf Australia specifically stating that AI/LLM proposals will not be accepted for the 2027 conference is bold and I for one applaud it.
My entire career has been focused on empowering people in the open source community to speak up for their values and stand firm on their ethical boundaries. You can agree or disagree with the conference organizers’ values and principles, but this is what it looks like to live by them.

I've written and summarized the wild journey of SondeHub from joke domain to handling military requests to our (accidental) involvement in Ukraine's defenses.
I have my first event! I realise this may be a bit far for most people here, but I’m pretty excited for it.

Hey @w3c, what's the process for updating the OWL 2 Primer so it doesn't erase gay marriage?
It's riven with problems, but this is a particularly odious passage:
"For instance, the statement that B is the wife of A obviously implies that B is a woman while A is a man.”
I understand reaching for an example that you think is simple but this is just so ugly.
