I’ve been trying to fulfill my wife’s kickstarter today and halfway through buying labels, Shopify has a popup that says I need to give them photos of my ID and a selfie; I said no—for obvious reasons—and now our account is frozen.

Am I wrong to not want to do this?

Computers were a skill. They were taught in classrooms as a skill. Skills give you power over your tools because you work them as an expert and that is leverage to multiply externally.

And then computers became an A/B tested telemetry-based advertising conduit to brains for SaaS recurring revenue.

This could be said of technologies before. Doesn't make it wrong.

I think Enfilade needs another even smaller optical size

I hope it’s as nice for clients as it is for me when I tell them their license already covers the use they’re emailing about and there’s no extra fees.

In our contemporary hellscape, I really hope hearing you don’t have to pay any more than you already have is refreshing.

Interesting how even the split is—and how few only use it for collaboration. I would have guessed at that being much higher.
