Linux microblog update:

I spent some time making Proxmox dance on tht head of a pin (okay, three used Dell Optiplexes) this evening.

I can't escape the ugly feeling that the reason I'm investing in learning this...is that allies who I previously relied on have been disrespected at and dismissed from organizations I used to love to partner with.

There's a disruption coming to technology - not due to AI - but due to new lines of trust being built after old easy comfortable ones were torn out to save a few dollars on one quarterly earnings report.

Wise investments in 2026 will have to figure out where the real trust is, and where it isn't.

Sorry, for the sarcasm. I am #boredomposting while I wait for my Linux phone to update some packages.

The graphical updater has been rubbish for me on the #PinePhone (on #ManjeroLinux), but the #cli is seems to be (slowly) succeeding in applying udpates, right now.

I'm tempering my expectations, but the CLI works fine most of the time.

I really hope this works!
