People who've pondered their gender and come out the other side with the gender they went in with, just understanding it a bit better now, ARE IN FACT A THING.
this is probably a terminology thing. They probably think "anyone who's queer is transgender" or something. Or "anyone who's thought about their gender is transgender" or something. To which I say, uh, no.
"transgender" generally implies opposite or at least different gender. And no, I am male, and I am not transgender.
It pisses me off when people try to say "nonbinary people are transgender" too. I'm nonbinary and not transgender, if anything I'm nonbinary and /cis/. :3
"you calling yourself transspecies hurts REAL TRANS PEOPLE and you're just an ugly cis person you don't know anything!!"
vs. "you're nonbinary? you're by definition transgender then!!"
PICK ONE. :V :3
(or preferably neither, but y'know)
