Hmm. Anyway. The article talks about the economic cost of the sky high sickness rate among health care staff.
No mention of Covid or long Covid. Only workload and "infections". It is quite something that they already dare to mention infections.

Thank you for summarizing, reducing to economic costs, workload and "infections" does in no way diminish the full impact of a very obvious coverup.
Fascists are tearing down decades of solid science and medical discipline.
Not even that worried about covid any more, very worried about the way pandemic was politicized and *not handled* and the ever dwindling vaccination rates.
Like global warming does not exist and that is not a threat to public health by itself.

The main risk for most people is long Covid. If you search the literature for "long Covid" and "reinfections" for recent work (2025, 2026), you will find that the risk of long Covid increases with the number of infections.
For example "This study found that an increased number of COVID-19 reinfections correlates with a higher incidence of LC symptoms"
