Thinking it might be time to turn on follow requests.

Kinda pissed off at the part time gig tonight.

Good news is that is part time and I don’t *have to* pick up any more shifts for a while.

(I have a lot of paperwork that’s going to wait for next shift.)

We’ve set a personal shift record for calls today, and it’s the one year anniversary for my Probies!

(10 hours to go too.)

I think the 3D printer is repaired. It took two rounds of parts, but it seems happy and is calibrating now.

Well I was going to get up, but I have a cat on my lap and a new Diesel Creek *just* dropped. (Literally 2 minutes ago.)

Looks like I’m here for the next 53 minutes.

Head & bodyaches this morning. Not bad, but glad I don’t have to work today.

Recliner, cat, & Plex for now.

The sleep of the innocent. #CatsofMastodon

(We had Cat TV on all evening & they’re all exhausted. )

[Forgot the pic. 🤦‍♂️

Done. Double vaxxed. We shall see.

And I’ve scheduled my Shingles for next month. Don’t sleep on that one, folks. Shingles’ll make you wish you’d died.

We were trying to calculate speed in Smoots per Scaramucci the other day.

We were also trying to do real work, so there was lots of Sharpie on cardboard boxes and no final answer. @weirdunits https://chaos.social/@weirdunits/117463453721482590

Wish I could get the family to use Delta Chat, but they keep defaulting back to Telegram.

At least it’s not SMS.

Ooh the Telegram phishing attacks have stepped up today. Two this afternoon alone.

I know the internet is evil, but today it has given me:

A: A livestream of an online bubble machine in FL.
B: Cat TV which Kiddo’s cat adores. (Thanks @Rasta !)
C: lost of interesting car photos.

And it’s not even lunch time yet.

Thinking tomorrow should be COVID & flu vax. Trying to schedule for a day when I don’t have to work the following morning.

Last year wasn’t bad, but previous ones have been rough.

Just passed a house political sign “Socialism doesn’t work - vote Republican”

WHO DO THEY THINK HAS BEEN RUNNING THINGS?

It finally sulked in the corner for about 5 minutes blinking its lights, then started up & motored straight to its charger. Maybe it’s monitoring my Masto feed.

The idiot thing has wandered off to the other end of the house and is complaining it can’t find the charger.

Back & forth across the same 6 feet…

But first the Roomba demands attention. I have no fear of the robot revolution. They can’t vacuum my kitchen for two successive days without assistance.

Pretty sure I qualify as weird. I’d rather don a sweatshirt and watch TV on my 40°F screen porch than sit inside.

FWIW the cats agree.

Long night at work. After a hot shower, today’s primary goal is 3D printer repair.

The need/want to print queue is backing up.
