Two things I am struggling with when working with c/c++

1 remembering to not use = and : when doing defines

2. Not getting yelled at for creating a variable or method parameter that has the same name as a class variable

Honestly I am not sure when 2 is a problem and when it isn't

I should just name all my fields with m_ and be done with it
