Robotrobot@wetdry.worldOct 2, 2026, 3:16 AM@elly oh no

@elly first thing I noticed was the layout issues, read it over a few times and saw the 40th of October, posted "oh no", came back and now I notice that October 2026 is written twice here for no reason.....
Edit: and the day of the week is wrong???????????
Oct 2, 2026, 5:20 AM@robot @elly The latter parts all seem consistent to me, at least? Month + year as headline for the currently displayed month (now if only they had arrow buttons or something to cycle back and forth, like any good calendar...), and unless I'm really confused about today the weekday matches up as well.
That layout sure is something though, even for waybar standards- ellyelly@donotsta.reOct 2, 2026, 11:35 AM@robot Nah, day was correct. It's Friday in Europe :blobcatblep:

@weirdtreething @elly damn thats a shame
Julian Großjuliangro@social.linux.pizzaOct 2, 2026, 5:20 AM@elly the 40 is the calendar week, by the way. Took me a while because of the position and it not being labeled.

I would give them benefit of the doubt and say that this is some easy to miss problem with date parsing since it actually is 40th week of the year.
Why did they mess with parsing function if it worked well before is a different question.
David Gerarddavidgerard@circumstances.runOct 3, 2026, 9:07 AM@astromateusz @elly benefit of what doubt, precisely?
