Amsterdam police seized a server belonging to Autistici/Inventati (A/I) from a data center at Amsterdam Science Park, acting on a US legal assistance request. Police digital experts are making an image of the drive, which goes straight to the US.

A/I spent 25 years providing free web hosting and email to about 20,000 left-wing and anti-capitalist groups. In August the US branded it a terrorist organization.

OSM vandalism is so funny because what do you mean someone unflooded Venice

to be fair it is a bit tucked away but the difficulty some people have in finding it is entirely disproportionate.

naturally I am in the process of building a big light up sign.

the ones who do read it *always* mention the instructions. because they are good instructions, bront.

delivery guy: "your house is really hard to find"

what I said: "yeah you're not the first person to struggle"

what I meant: "you are the latest in a long series of people who didn't bother to read the extremely clear and impossible to misunderstand instructions I provided alongside the address, which I have spent several years honing to avoid all possible sources of confusion"

"you may now read the report. if you so choose."

This is a long shot, but: does anyone have access to a Supermicro H11DST-B *version 2.x* motherboard?

We (@hswaw) suspect that the only important difference with 1.x is a larger NOR flash for the firmware. If so, a little hot air action would allow an upgrade to Zen 2 CPUs, and get big perf/power-efficiency gains on a budget.

Boosts much appreciated!

#MothOfTheDay sounds like a Scotsman's medical complaint ... but is actually a rather nice, neat greyscale bark mimic species:

BLAIR'S SHOULDER-KNOT
Lithophane leautieri

A recent colonist whose larvae favour cypress trees, it is now fairly widespread in the UK.
