There seems to be radio silence on the Alpoge-Claude proof of the Hopf problem from experts in complex geometry.
Maybe the proof is faulty or they’re unimpressed.
Has anyone heard differently?

3 different papers were released on arxiv in differential geometry by the same person on the same day. In the comments, the author says “ai generated and human verified”.
Forget for a moment that he let AI do all the work which seems cheap and devalues mathematics. But the claim that he verified everything seems unlikely. It takes a long time to read and meticulously check a single math paper and he claims to have checked 3 brand new papers at once.
Mass produced papers. A paper mill.
Am i overreacting?
Thoughts?
What is the longest amount of time between submission of a revised manuscript (minor revisions, positive reports) to a final decision? Anyone wait more than 3 months?
