Quote post with the first video game you remember playing!

A Pong style console, circa 1981/1982?

But the first I really remember has been Melbourne House’s The Hobbit. First game I ever got for the C64, loved it (and it came with a paperback copy of the book! 😍).

The opening scene from The Hobbit adventure game on the Commodore 64. The scene depicts a tunnel-like hallway with a green door at the end. The walls are white, and the floor is purple, with a white chest on it. Underneath a text input zone says “you are in a comfortable tunnel like hall”, and the prompt says “LOOK.”
