U.S. East Coasters: keep an eye on this storm off the Carolinas. It's not really moving, and it can't do much right now to strengthen, but it can if it hold on long enough, after 48 hours, there are much more favorable conditions for strengthening. Right now, maybe a Nor'easter, but the possibility remains that it could become the next named storm: Josephine.

A cover, but here y'go
@HCBunny I really like the name. Should be more songs about Josephines.
I do not want more songs with "Kim" in them. When I was waiting tables, there was a semi-popular song with the lyrics "no one can save us from Kim the waitress." I got a lot of teasing over it! 😂
Kim the Waitress Lyrics (Material Issue)
Pressed lips and tender hips
Turning in my head
Writing poems in a corner booth
That I'd die if she read
Seeing her in but a silver cross
Lying on her bed
No one can save us
From Kim The Waitress
No one can save us
But Kim The Waitress
Nobody can save us
But Kim The Waitress
Always turns me on
Sometimes she comes with coffee
Leaning over, pouring
I'd like to gently pull her to me
Kiss her with no warning
Seeing her some sunny Sunday morning
No one can save us
From Kim The Waitress
No one can save us
But Kim The Waitress
Nobody can save us
But Kim The Waitress
Always turns me on
She doesn't come around anymore
And that bothers me (I’m unhappy)
And that bothers me (I’m unhappy)
Yeah, it bothers me
Though I don't stand a ghost of a chance with her
She's pretty (and that bothers me)
So pretty (and that bothers me)
And it bothers me (I’m unhappy)
No one can save us
From Kim The Waitress
No one can save us
From Kim The Waitress
Nobody can save us
But Kim The Waitress
Always turns me down
No one can save us
No one can save us
Nobody can save us
@kimlockhartga @HCBunny Sorry, payback for you telling me about long novels I want to read 😆
@sunumbral @HCBunny Got-damn! I love this band, Mike! Thank you for introducing me to their music. Polished style, great groove. Can't believe they didn't make a bigger splash.
@kimlockhartga Careful, it's a gateway to Elliott Smith 🤣
@sunumbral ha!
