The other day I saw a viral toot with screenshots of a Blue Sky post saying (paraphrased) "WHY ISN'T THE US MEDIA COVERING WHAT'S HAPPENING IN ALBANIA??"

People seemed concerned about it in the replies and were favoriting and boosting the toot of the screenshot of Blue Sky.

Meanwhile, we're 4 hours into the latest wrinkle of the protest in Albania, which I toot links to daily, and I don't really see the same engagement people feel around screenshotted BlueSky posts...

I do wonder why that is and why we're like that.
