    Good Morning, all,

yesterday was a bit of a Kinofest - two sessions at my favourite venue - the Little Theatre in #Bath.

Up, and didst hie me to 'The Social Reckoning,' a bleak but ultimately affirming story of resistance to the Facebook steamroller.

Jeremy Strong gave a very strong robotic performance as Mark Zuckerberg; leads Mikey Madison and Jeremy Allen White were excellent as whistleblower Frances Haugen and WSJ investigative reporter Jeff Horwitz respectively.

For me, this filum just reinforces my view that anyone who believes an artificial general intelligence made in the image of its creator, the boss of Meta (or, indeed, any of the American AI #TechBros) will act benignly in the interests of humanity, is sadly deluding themselves.

Strangely, the second movie was on a related theme: 'Coyote vs Acme [Corporation].' The audience was divided; there are some adults who have grown out of laughing at Wile E. Coyote.

    And some who simply haven't!

Wile E. Coyote sits at the plaiintiff's desk during his trial versus Acme Corporation. His attorney, Kevin Avery, a down-and-out billboard attorney and member of Avery, Jones & Maltese is played by Will Forte. The wiley coyote is holding up a signboard that reads quote Acme Sucks unquote.
