Light to moderate showers this morning covering almost all of #Maryland, south into northern #Virginia, heavier showers out towards Lynchburg, Lexington, Staunton, Charlottesville; only patchy light rain around #RVA at the moment but more showers are moving north out of the Carolinas and should arrive later today across southeast VA. Overcast skies should put a lid on the severe threat, mostly just looking at a few discreet storm cells later today rather than a widespread threat. #VAwx #MDwx
