I am tiring of explaining to Wikipedians that WMF is in the grips of a brutal, near-textbook* innovator's dilemma. Changes to leadership and unionization may be good, but they won't fix that core fact.
* textbook requires getting undercut on price, which isn't the case here because free

@luis_in_brief interesting... I'm not very familiar with the Innovator's Dilemma and the analogy seems a bit crude (because of free but also WMF is not a for-profit company) but I think I see the analogy here.
Who would be the clients: the donnors? the readers? the wikipedians?
