Yeah yeah individual action versus collective blah blah wait for the government to fix it because you can't fix climate change by yourself whatever, but I'm *not* doing this by myself. Loads of people are putting up solar panels, loads of people are reducing their consumption because they get a more visceral understanding of what a watt really is, and loads of people are *talking to each other about this stuff,* first as isolated weirdos over the internet but then to our friends and neighbours. I'm the first one in my social circle to do it, but my social circle is meerkatting over all curious and watching me and going "Hmm, maybe I'll be next," tendrils are going out, cells are connecting.

You see pictures online and you hear about stuff going on in other countries then you see panels on a roof on a road trip and then you see them in your neighbourhood and then you see them on your street and then you get them yourself, is how this works, it spreads like the opposite of a disease. Like an ease I guess
