@ned Economic growth is the threat, the world economy has become so large that it needs to shrink by more than half in order to even gain a chance of becoming sustainable. There is no way this isn't ending in the complete collapse of the Industrial Age. AI is just a tech bubble the investors are inflating in the hope of generating more economic growth when the economy is already far too big.
