@hynek @djangomed @judy2k As free threading matures, probably yes. Django's main branch (which will be 6.2, next version) is already free-threading compatible as far as the test suite says, but we're pretty sure there'll be edges to track down, and library compatibility to smooth. BUT as that matures, there's no reason this couldn't be in-process. Running the bgt supervisor in your W/ASGI entry point isn’t going to be difficult per se. (We're just not there yet.)
