    let's say i want to register a domain that every government would like to take down, like transfem-antifa.com

    are there any registrars that have more of a reputation for protecting angry bitches like me ? or would it be infeasible to protect myself ?

    @tati @earthshine .com is under US jurisdiction, regardless of registrar. I’d be looking at ccTLDs instead, though which country to choose is another question.

    @tati First thing I’d do would be to make sure your domain registration, your dns hosting, your web hosting and (if relevant) your email hosting are with different companies. I’d make sure you have local copies of all your content, ideally in a way that it can be deployed to a new host in 15 minutes. And I’d consider a backup hostname - same name on a ccTLD probably - and mirror content there.

    @tati
    And don’t register both domains with the same registrar or in the same TLD. Check who your registrar is - a surprising number are just reselling someone else. That’s fine, except for redundancy.

    Cloudflare are a fucking evil company, but one aspect of that is their not giving a shit about compliance, including as a registrar. That may be an advantage in this situation.

    Also, someone like easydns at the more mainstream end or nearlyfreespeech at the more, uh, opinionated side.

    Thank you ... This will help me too

    I already have everything with different suppliers

    I also have a separate account for business and fun as the last thing I want and you would want is any service that is critical
