Common Yellowthroat: I have been trying all summer to get a photo of a yellowthroat- Common as they may be, they have evaded my (photo) capture at every turn. They'd call me with their distinct song and then dash out of sight, snickering to themselves no doubt. At last, I found the secret- catch 'em when they're young. I love how that yellowthroat stance and attitude comes naturally to them from the start!
