Yesterday, about 5 pm, Southern Italy.- A storm, with high speed wind and air saturated with sand, covered the sky in about 5 minutes, taking some heavy rain, causing some damages and a lot of fear. Within an hour or so, the sun came back, taking a pleasant 27°C.

The extreme phenomenon was due to the arrival of fresh air from the North, clashing with the overheated air. In the past weeks temperature are 7-8°C above tha average, with about 35-38°C (about 40°C in the big cities) during the day.

I've never seen something like that in my life.
