*Collecting* and *Hoarding* are insanely different things. It's only a "collection" if it's actively displayed and curated. Six unread magazines, on the other hand, is not a collection; it's a recycling project and a personal affliction.
If Putin stops fighting, the war ends. If Zelensky stops fighting then his country will be occupied, leaders murdered, language banned, businesses stolen, children kidnapped. That's what happens in Russian-occupied Ukraine.
@986themix tonight is a quad-play from the series that keeps you on the edge of your seat! its suspense on server 2 for you
Happy White Cane Safety Day! Anyone remember this blast from the past?
Cis women,
If you have some sort of "Women's Group", or even just a circle of women who go and get lunch together, intentionally and explicitly invite trans women. A lot of us are reluctant about proactively inviting ourselves to places that we might encounter TERFs.
Welcome to #TransTuesday!
There is NO ethical consumption of Harry Potter
Not the books, movies, or tv show. Not licensed games or merch. Not fanfic. Not even pirated.
EVERY bit keeps the franchise alive and enables JKR's transphobia
If you truly care about trans people, you need to let it die

“I’m not cheap. I cost twenty dollars.”
“And what do you do for twenty dollars?”
“I do my best.”
Today's marks 3 years since I quit drinking... Still trying to figure out how to be social and have fun, particularly in queer spaces, and wishing there were more sober options for us.
I'm probably late to the party, but one of my favorite iOS 27 features that people don't seem to be talking about is the ability to ask Siri to perform an action on the current page. Saying things like "enter my email address in the text field", or "draft a reply to this message with availability based on my Calendar" have been saving me a lot more time than I thought they would. It's also great for inaccessible applications when Voiceover can't find or won't click buttons.
Why in the world did braille notetakers peak in the late 2000s and early 2010s? I personally think the Apex was the best BrailleNote HumanWare ever made. I know many argue it was the mPower, which is fair, I just hated the keyboard on that thing and didn't grow up with it. The apex though? I loved! That thing. And I think the BrailleSense U2 is the best BrailleSense HIMS has ever made, today's latest offerings included. The mPower was 2005, the APex was I think announced in 2009 and shipped in 2010, and the U2 came out in 2012. Wonder what it was about that time? Maybe just the perfect combination of an instant-on embedded OS, skilled software developers, and the influence of more actually blind people.
What language do you speak best? (Hypothesis: There are many French & German speakers in the Fediverse.)
:fediverse: Boosts appreciated!
Now announcing my new app, FastRoute. This one is a long time in the making. The idea of FastRoute is that you have sessions, and within these sessions you have different blocks that you can add, in any order you want, to send audio anywhere you like and process it however you like. This app is for Windows users, and is designed to create a similar ish experience to something like Audio Hijack from the Mac. Input blocks include things like input devices, applications, system audio (with exclusions support), internet streams. Effects include a 4 band parametric EQ, a 10 band EQ, channel mixer, pitch shifter, normalizer, compressor, and more. Outputs include output device, recorder, etc. FastRoute can also send and receive audio across the network, using it's net send/net receive blocks. We have our own protocol, but also support VBAN (VB Audio Network) protocol as well! This barely scratches the surface of the power of FastRoute, so check it out! https://github.com/masonasons/FastRoute/releases/tag/latest
Fellow Mac/VoiceOver users, do we have a favorite Markdown editor? I know there are many options, the problem is that there are many options. :)

Ah, glad to see it’s still always gray and cold. Lived there 1997-2000 for grad school.
The only public execution I could be persuaded is justifiable, whether by law, morality or karmic nullity is the same one we’re all thinking of every damned day he’s alive and squatting in the People’s House.

OMG; I Forkin Love This!! LOL!
#today is #NationalComingOutDate here in the Untied States. Oct 11 is the anniversary of that huge #LGBTQIA march on Washington. If not for car trouble, I'd have been there. Remember, there are as many right ways to come out, as there are people doing it! If you celebrate, make it a joyful one!
