These folks apparently do voter registration drives at concerts, but their website is great too--for every state, you can find out how to register to vote and track your registration, voting methods and deadlines, sample ballots and such:
I learned about this site from Annie Evans on Joanne Freeman's stream.
For my friends and followers in the US: Are you registered to vote? If so, have you checked your voter registration to make sure it's still valid? (Your state government probably has a website where you can do it.)
Do you have a plan for how you're going to vote (by mail, early, or on Election Day, as your state laws and your circumstances warrant)? If you plan to vote by mail, have you applied to do so?
We're a little over a month out from a very important midterm election, and every plan helps. #uspol
Aside from being a funny film even if you only have the general idea of how cartoon characters work, the movie is full of little cameos and gags that are amazingly deep cuts for Looney Tunes fans, which I don't even want to spoil.
"Coyote vs. ACME" is surprisingly good, the funniest and cleverest Looney Tunes movie and it's not even close (unless you count "Who Framed Roger Rabbit?" and it's about on par with that).
Apparently the distributor paid $50 million to rescue it from Warner's ashcan and another $10 million or so on marketing. Will they make money? Unclear, but I suspect this thing is a word-of-mouth movie that is going to have legs.
I just got accused of being AI in Reddit for the first time.
