If you have #6m #FT8 capabilities, Argentina is now coming into PA via TEQ propagation. Just worked LW2EDM. The opening seems to follow the terminator perfectly.

How could I not follow this great spot! Now we know where @N3VEM is hanging out. 😁

Just received these #ISS #SSTV images on the 5pm EST pass.

The bottom of the last image received is nothing but noise as the ISS dropped below the horizon.

Well that was a fun short 21 minute #POTA activation this afternoon! 31 stations worked with best DX being Germany and Norway.

I found out why the take-off angle was so lousy to the South...they drained the lake! 😀 Actually, that's the reason we visited the park. It was so much fun to walk the bottom of the lake and seeing why I lost so many lures there. 😀

First few images I received from the #ARISS #ISS #SSTV event this weekend.

Wow! The Yaesu FTX-1 and the Optima dropped quite a bit in price. The FTX-1 can now be had for just under $1000 and the Optima for $1550.

Early Black Friday deal, or feeling the heat of the IC-7110 breathing down it's neck?

Just checked into the #FediFridayWinlinkNet using a mode I haven't tried in a long time, APRS.

The transmitted and received packets are in the Alt-Text of the image.

Making waves.

You just know that it means that you will get less product for more money with more air added and ingredient replacements that you wouldn't even think of feeding your pets.

"Improving recipe" to me has the same connotation as the recent "price upgrade" from Hulu.

I'm really enjoying this latest album by Mesh I'm #NowSpinning on #vinyl, The Truth Doesn't Matter.

Mesh describes this album as an "observational snapshot of the human condition and the current challenges we all face with communication and interaction".

As a #hamradio or #AmateurRadio operator I certainly appreciate the vintage radio and other communication equipment infused artwork and the message in Morse code on the cover.

Big brother is watching you...from atop a kitchen cabinet

Happy #Caturday!

I was never on #Hyves (hyves.nl) when it was a thing in 2010 or so, but apparently it's back. I've no clue how it works, but here we go. I can be found as Aethersurfer. 😀

Now if someone would be so kind to bring back UTBBS (BBS at the University of Twente from the early 90s) my life would be complete. 😆

SSTV Event Incoming!

ARISS SSTV Series 33 will feature images focused on student education, transmitted from the International Space Station October 2-6.

This special Expedition 75 SSTV event is just 9 days away. Get your SSTV software and decoders ready!

I went to Camelback mountain yesterday to meet up with some friends who were working the 10GHz and up contest. Since it's also a state park I decided to attempt a #POTA activation.

Band conditions seemed to be pretty lousy for me on 20m and only made 16 SSB Q's from US-1330, Big Pocono State Park. I was surprised that despite the lousy conditions I was able to work PD1CW.

On 14.281USB from US-1333 Big Pocono State Park.
