I took this picture of Summer early this morning.
She was sitting on her perch.
The highest point on our property.
My husband cleared a flat to build the house fifty years ago. He pushed the dirt towards the road and left the pile there because he liked the privacy it provided.
Later we added a fence to keep out our wandering, famous artist neighbor, who shamelessly helped himself to most of my flowers every day as he let his dogs poop on our grass. When asking him nicely to stop didn't work we built a fence.
Now Summer thinks she is the queen of all that she sees. I keep telling her that she doesn't rule the neighborhood to no avail. She still barks at the artist as he walks by.
When I looked at this photo and she looked like she was glowing I started to wonder if she's right and I'm wrong.

Finally blocked someone who has a ton of followers, and whose hot-take posts were sometimes enjoyable — but his images never had alt text and some were just screencaps of his posts on X. With two strikes against him (lack of alt text, active user of X) I just couldn’t stomach seeing his posts any more. And I don’t really need any more hot takes.

I already block many folks for lack of alt text, and making an exception for this guy just didn’t make sense to me.

My dad has an iPhone 18 Pro Max. He's been using Apple's Braille Screen Input on it with great success. Then last night, it suddenly stopped working well for him, and he hasn't figured out what happened or how to fix it. He can type things like a full cell, dots 4-5-6, l, etc. but can't type real words on it. Anyone know what might have gone wrong? Please boost for reach. Thanks.
