It's already been said many times that the U.S., under President Donald Trump, was turning its back on #Ukraine.
But the past few days show something worse than abandonment: Trump is now actively helping russia win the war.

Our dear friend @matteozenatti (who is a tenor) is asking if there are other tenors here around in the fediverse.
Please boost, thanks!

Meaning of L.A.
@davep So they all went to their car for a Thai, but only found a set of jumper leads. They arranged these around their neck and returned to the Mâitre D and asked "Will this do?"
The Mâitre D paused, then said "Ok. But don't start anything!".
Wow... Twitter suspended some influence operations clusters for the first time in years
I might have mentioned this before, but I was an odd fish as a child*. Mum thought I was a bit thick because I didn't start reading aged one like my elder sister. I actually remember thinking those stupid Janet and John books were just an annoying waste of my time. Literally the first book I ever read was Robin Hood, aged four, and I just never stopped for a decade. I was allergic to stuff that was transparently condescending to kids.
If anyone else was similarly odd, I'm guessing I'll find them here.
* Yes, I know I'm not exactly normal as an adult either.
I feel like the old science twitter would have a good answer to this question, but let's try here. I understand Eutel Oneweb can/will make a European equivalent to #starlink.
Perhaps even with higher orbits to avoid the satellite orbit pollution.
Is this true? When will it be ready? How do we switch to it?
Yes this is also a question about how we can help #Ukraine.

We’re at that point in the timeline where Jim Cramer is conflicted about sounding like Karl Marx.

When the cataloger of our fabulous new miniature books collection comes by and asks, “Do you want to see something pretty?” you say yes.
A bit of an overload with the Aurora pictures these last few days but I’ll take it while it’s here! This was at 20:30 last night in Aberdeenshire and by far the brightest display of the week. Half an hour before and fifteen minutes later it was raining…… #Aurora #Aberdeenshire #Scotland

After months of heavy droughts, many crops have been left dead which has threatened our efforts towards fighting hunger.
We have hope that with a reliable water source, we can grow crops, feed the need and support our community without having to worry about drought
We're raising funds to establish a permanent water source for our farming activities. With your support, we can make this happen.
