    It annoys me a lot that my brain has recently been overwhelmed and captured by anti-AI advocacy and anger, while I already had so many more important and interesting things to do, plan and think about -- not least do and manage research that makes a little difference to the living world.

    I really feel stripped of my freedom by the Big Tech bastards and their enablers, and I hate this because it means they are winning by making everything on Earth about themselves at the moment.

    It's really hard to compartimentalize this fight.

    @frincon I relate way too much to this feeling, and some friends noted it as well. It consumes me and that makes me feel like they (the tech bros) are getting their way.

    @Pothos @frincon
    Even outside of the scientific field this abomination is rotting people's brains (and I often feel overwhelmed by this coordinated attack on human knowledge and creativity).

    @frincon I don’t need to tell you it’s the same in the art world (but I just did, sorry)
